The complications of the feet in people with diabetes mellitus are two types:
NEUROPATH STEP (in 92% of cases)
SYMPTOMS:
normal appearance of the foot, visualization of the veins on the back of the foot;
dry skin;
fungal nail changes;
preserved pulsations of the palpable arteries;
reduced superficial and deep sensation;
heavy mollusc formations on the most stressed points;
constant pain (especially at night);
shooting pain (anytime);
pain resembling pain in prick or electric shock;
tingling, feeling of swelling;
hot extremities (mostly at night);
shortening tendons;
Fingering due to falling of the transverse and longitudinal stairs;
Fingers of the “raptors” type (in severe cases).
NEUROCHEMICAL STREAM (in 8% of cases)
SYMPTOMS:
pale and dry skin;
cracks on the heels;
severe fungal nausea;
strong, intolerable pain that is not affected by analgesics;
strong tightening and pain in the calf area caused by walking.
